Public board: the customer view
What your customers (end users) actually see on the public board, and how voting, posting, and commenting work without a separate login.
Address and layout
The public board lives at lenit.cloud/board?slug={workspace-slug}. Three tabs sit at the top: Ideas, Roadmap, and Announcements.
Voting
Press the ▲ button next to an idea to vote. One vote per person; press again to undo it.
Voting works from the visitor cookie even without identification, so customers can show support without signing up.
Posting an idea
Unidentified visitors can post ideas too — they are treated as anonymous based on the visitor cookie.
- Post anonymously option — publish without showing a name.
?compose=1parameter — open a link with this parameter and the compose form opens right away. Handy for sharing.
Comments
Customers can leave comments on an idea's detail view — a place to talk things through with other customers and your team.
Search, sort, and filter
Customers can find what they're looking for with:
- Search — find ideas by keyword.
- Sort — newest, trending, or most voted
- Filter — by status, by topic, my posts, or ideas I voted on
- My activity modal — everything they've done in one place
Widget embedding and user identification
Embedding the widget opens the same board inside your own product. Pass userId and traits to identify the customer and feed segment analysis.

Admin controls and branding
Admin-only controls, such as changing a status, appear only when you are signed in as an admin. Customers never see them.
Board branding — logo, colors, hero banner, theme — is set in Project settings.
