AI automation

Running your board on autopilot — Leni & MCP

"Doesn't someone have to manage this every day?" No. Connect GitHub once and Leni, your AI manager, takes care of the rest — and if you're a developer, you can connect your AI coding tools directly over MCP.

NotePlan limits
MCP connections are available from the Starter plan ($39/mo) and Leni from the Pro plan ($69/mo).

Connect GitHub and Leni takes it from there

Leni is an AI manager that runs on its own every morning. Connect a GitHub repository once under AI manager (/admin/agent) in the admin sidebar, and it handles all of this without anyone stepping in.

What Leni doesDetails
Replies and merges duplicatesAnswers new feedback automatically and merges lookalike requests into the existing item, combining their votes.
Detects deploys, closes the loopScans merged PRs and releases, finds the related feedback, and moves it to "Done".
Drafts changelogs, sends notificationsTurns shipped changes into a changelog draft and tells everyone who voted once it's published.
Suggests what to build nextRecommends what's worth building based on votes and segments. You still make the call.

Every run is logged in the daily report and the activity calendar, and anything Leni isn't confident about waits for you under Pending approval. See the Leni documentation for how it all works.

For developers — connect directly over MCP

You can connect AI coding tools that speak MCP (Model Context Protocol) — Claude Code, Cursor — to your Lenit workspace. Once connected, the agent can read your Lenit feedback while it codes, or draft a changelog from the change you just made.

Where to find MCP

Go to Settings › Integrations › MCP (/admin/mcp) in the admin, pick your client, and copy the MCP URL you need. Any AI coding tool that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol) can connect.

How to connect

  1. Register the MCP URL shown in the connect dialog with your AI tool (Cursor has a one-click install button).
  2. The first call from your AI tool opens a browser login and finishes the connection.

In Claude Code, register it like this.

Claude Code example
bash
1
claude mcp add lenit --transport http <MCP URL>

Ways to use it

Once connected, just ask your AI coding tool in plain language. Three prompts to start with.
